Frequently asked questions
Why is my split aircon not cooling?
Common causes include dirty coils, blocked filters, fan faults, electrical problems, refrigerant leaks, sensor faults or compressor problems.
Can an inverter aircon be repaired?
Yes. Inverter systems can be diagnosed, although PCB and compressor repairs depend on parts availability and repair economics.
Does every split aircon need regassing?
No. A sealed system should not routinely lose gas. Refrigerant loss normally requires leak investigation.
How often should a split unit be serviced?
Residential units often need annual service, while heavily used office or commercial units may need service every three to six months.
Can you install a customer-supplied aircon?
Installation can be quoted after confirming the unit, capacity, pipe length, electrical supply, brackets and drainage route.
